Lockdowel Inc. was an instrumental partner in Kimball International’s automation plans. According to Thomas May, global vice president for Lockdowel, an idea for two modifications came from Kimball International’s Ron Devillez.  “Ron wanted a smaller diameter on the barbed post, but with the holding power of the full-sized E900 line. They ship many things fully assembled in boxes, and therefore have a battery of extensive quality tests to ensure their products reach their customers in perfect condition. We were pleased to develop a new fastener, the E3259BM, which passed all of their tests toward achieving that.”
